Photo Booth Attendant

Pix R Us is seeking energetic and friendly Photo Booth Attendants who are trustworthy, responsible and punctual to join our team. Attendants are responsible for picking up photo booth equipment, driving themselves to the events, setting-up the photo booth, assisting guests with the photo booth, ensuring that guests and the client(s) are provided an outstanding and FUN experience and breaking down the photo booth.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

Reports to on-call Pix R Us Management team member. May be required to work independently or with a partner. 

  • Pick up necessary photo booth equipment, backdrops and props prior to the event. 

  • Arrive at the event in a timely fashion, allowing appropriate time for setup. 

  • Deliver, setup and manage the photo booth(s) at various event locations.

  • Test run technology and ensure internet connection is established.  

  • Greet and direct/invite guests to the photo booth.

  • Assist guests with the booth to ensure they have a clear understanding of how the experience works.

  • Display a positive attitude while assisting multiple guests and providing excellent customer service that inspires repeat visits and expands our customer base.

  • Troubleshoot and technical problems and client issues rapidly.

  • Ensure that all displays are in working order and that the area is neat and usable at all times. 

  • Issue final call to guests prior to designated photobooth breakdown time. 

  • Breakdown photo booth and ensure allotted workspace is left in the condition it was initially found. 

  • Return all photo booth equipment after the event. 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Willing to travel to various events 

  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and a reliable vehicle

  • Willing to work evenings/weekends

  • Must have basic computer knowledge

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance

  • Able to problem-solving and think quickly 

  • Willing to submit references upon request 


* Proven experience in the events industry, computers, or photography background is a plus.

Compensation: Pay will start at $15-20/hr per event. You will also be compensated for both travel time and mileage (15-20/hr + $.49/mi).

Typical events last 3-5 hours (plus travel, set up, and break down) and usually occur mostly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. From start to finish, the entire compensated time may be 5-10 hours per event.
